Over the three days of 9/17 (Sat.), 9/18 (Sun.), and 9/19 (Mon./Holiday), about 300 groups performed enthusiastically at multiple live houses in Shimokitazawa, Shinjuku, and Shibuya. circuit festival “Eggs presents TOKYO CALLING 2016” ended successfully with great success.

This event is called “Mihodai” in Osaka, “Dera Rock Festival” in Nagoya, and “TENJIN ONTAQ” in Fukuoka.
The nation's leading circuit festivals have teamed up to create a circuit festival that can only be seen here, making the most of their respective characteristics.

With a total attendance of 10,000 people, the three days were full of smiles and excitement befitting Japan's largest circuit festival.

[From the organizer of TOKYO CALLING]
After finishing the first episode of "Eggs presents TOKYO CALLING 2016", I really feel that an event involves a lot of people and is not something that belongs to just one person, but something that belongs to everyone.
Conception 3 years. At first, it was a simple idea of ``3 days in a row'' and ``I wish I could have a live circuit in Shimokitazawa, Shinjuku and Shibuya''.
After that, I consulted with my friends around me, and some of them disappeared halfway through (laughs). These friends are connected through music.
My life is shaped by music. I think that the strong desire to appreciate such music from the bottom of my heart and to repay the kindness has led me to where I am today.
This time, "Eggs presents TOKYO CALLING 2016" was a success as a form, although there are points to reflect on in some details. Just like Frederick said, "'Eggs presents TOKYO CALLING 2016' is the best live circuit in Japan, but let's make it the best in the world next year." I hope that it will inspire you and give you the opportunity to shape (the person's) life. There are many people who learned about "Eggs presents TOKYO CALLING2016" through Abema TV during these three days. Next year, I would like to involve such people and create a system that makes everyone, the audience, the performers, and the people involved in the industry, all happier.
