The MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN, the largest international music awards in Japan, has the concept of "Connecting with the world and lighting the future of music." This year, the awards ceremony will be held over two days, on Wednesday, May 21st and Thursday, May 22nd. The week will also feature a variety of music-related events from Saturday, May 17th to Thursday, May 22nd.
During the week of the event, on Wednesday, May 21st, the "MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN SOUND SCRAMBLE supported by Kyoto University of Arts" will be held at a live music venue in Kyoto, bringing together artists from across generations and borders.

Asian artists from Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand will also participate. It is an omnibus live show that promotes Japanese and Asian music. It will be held at Kyoto Takutaku and KYOTO MUSE, two live houses representing Kyoto. In conjunction with the MAJ Awards Ceremony, Kyoto will be the base for promoting Japanese and Asian music.
