After hearing the doctor's judgment and hearing from other drummers who suffer from the same symptoms, I have decided to take a break for a while.
They have already announced the release of their 10th anniversary album and a tour, but they are going ahead as planned with a support drummer.
For the time being, we won't be able to see Kariyushi 58's activities as a group of four, but we can hear from Hiroki Nakamura's comments that he is positive about his comeback.

We have an important report for everyone regarding Hiroki Nakamura, the drummer of Kariyushi 58.

Kariyushi 58 has been doing live performances and recordings, but while continuing these activities, around the summer, I was consulted by the person himself that there was something wrong with his right arm and that he was having trouble playing the drums.
I continued my activities while monitoring the situation, but the symptoms did not improve, and I began to worry that it would affect not only my drum playing but also my daily life. rice field.

Recently, my symptoms have become clearer.
In short, I found that the symptoms of focal dystonia were afflicting me.
Simple actions/exercises cannot be skillfully sent from the brain as commands, and the body stops moving against the will of the person.
Or it is in a situation where it moves unintentionally.

After receiving a doctor's examination at the hospital, talk with various people, including drummers and related people who suffer from the same symptoms, and try to find out how to improve and how to hit like before. I was.

As a result, I decided that it would be best for me to rest now.

At this stage, I'm getting impatient because I have to practice so that people can see a good live performance, and I have to do my best to record in order to leave a good work behind. It's gone.

Hiroki Nakamura's frustration that he will not be able to participate in the commemorative timing of the 10th anniversary of Kariyushi 58, such as the release of the album next year, the tour, and the appearance at the event, is understood by the members and staff. doing.
