Kei Yuki Releases Music Video for First Love Song "Uso no Ato" Written for the Stage

From the double A-side digital single "Chime / Uso no Ato" released on February 22nd (Thursday) by Yukiakira as an itunes exclusive and today's venue exclusive paper jacket CD.
The MV for the latest work "Uso no Ato" was released on his YouTube channel after the first screening at the sold-out one-man live performance.

This work is Yuki's first love song written for the stage "Sono na wa Jinsei ~Jinsei no Saigo wa Kitsume Saitou Worst~" held in November last year.
Shota Hino, who was in charge of the stage direction, fell in love with the world of music and songs, and realized this work.
It is a video work like a short movie that uncovers the depiction of the creature called human beings.

This one-man live production was all invited and directed by himself,
"Lighting production" by Mr. Atsushi Harata, who has a track record of live performances with liquid lights such as Boku no Lyric no Bouyomi MV and Passepied.
Studied under Japan's first giant flower creative crew "G+FLOWER", she is energetically opening up new art fields one after another, such as "flower installations" created by herself.

Since the indie debut in February 2017 last year,
1st mini-album release commemoration Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka tour, 3 consecutive months art solo exhibition & singing live in Tokyo,
5 major city tours commemorating the release of the 2nd mini album, and 10 out of 11 performances of independent projects were sold out.

This is the first song I wrote as a theme song for the stage.
This is a work that was born from seeing the power of the actors and the depth, fear, and beauty of “acting” when I went to see the rehearsals.
It is a song that I was able to experience the depth of writing a song for the story, as I entered the play during the actual performance and was allowed to participate in the world of the play by singing along with it.
The MV has a strong storyline in the form of having an actor appear for the first time. Rather than asking you to imagine the story and scenery, I tried to make it a form of seeing the actual situation and thinking about it. ”

The song "Uso no Ato" was born from the perspective of the main character in the stage play "The end of life is always the worst".
This song was created after she visited the rehearsal room and felt the atmosphere, heat, emotion, and love of the place through the work.
I think there was a moment when the "shape of love" that could not be conveyed by letters alone rang in her, and at the same time, it clicked.
After the practice that day, this song was sent to me in no time, and I felt a great deal of love filling a small space.
Until now, she had written lyrics, songs, and thoughts about things that were born inside her, but at that time, she seemed to have hit a wall, saying, "I can't compose songs because I've become cloudy." He told me.
However, the encounter at that time may have created a place for everyone involved in this song, like a family, and gave them the opportunity to take a step into new soil.
The shooting took place over three days, including a heavy snow day. The heavy snow made the schedule overcrowded and harsh.
This work uncovers the depiction of the creature called "human". Dirty, you might think. But it can be considered beautiful.
That is the nature of human beings. You can always feel the "human smell" in "Yuki Kei"'s songs. It became a work that fused it.
I hope that this song will continue to spread further, depending on the sensibilities and interpretations of those who have seen it.

It's been about a year since I posted the MV for my indie debut song "Ichigo Ichie".
This time, from the drawing process to the editing, I used Premiere Pro and photoshop to do everything by myself.
I made an animated MV.
In order to express the chime of each person at that time, I thought that it would be better to express the scenery of the song with "pictures" instead of "live action", so I chose animation as a method of expression.
The manuscript paper, the answer sheet, and the movements of the plants express growth and the flow of time, while the movement of men and women of all ages and the movement of the title part express the meaning of the chime for each and every person.
I wasn't taught anything about video or painting, so I had a hard time moving the pictures well, but I think I was able to create a work that is like me now.
