A 5-piece alternative pop band that has been doing so-called DIY activities at their own pace, producing independent sound sources including artwork (including CD jackets and MVs, produced by vo/gt's takuchan) that make use of their own sense in their hometown of Fukuoka. NYAI.
While continuing the DIY spirit, he joined the music office LD&K from January 2020 in order to pursue new expansion. From the early stages, he captivated local high-sense individual eventers and media personnel with a pop and alternative guitar rock sound that can be understood by those who know. With roots in alternative bands/units/artists from the UK/US/Japan that frequently occurred from the end of the 80's to the 90's, they are part of the trend of new Japanese band pops after 2020 with their own sense of Japanese. I have a feeling that it will form. 1st full album "OLD AGE SYSTEMATIC" (independent production board) in September 2016, 2nd full album "HAO" in July 2019 (independent production board/July Tower Records [Tower Recommendation]/CD Shop Award 2020 Kyushu Block Award ) was released for nationwide distribution. “NYAN NYAN WORLD 2”is a new song from NYAI's brand new crowdfunding limited album (CD/cassette tape)“N¥A!”. This music video version is remixed by SZK, a gifted trackmaker living in Tokyo. created by takuchan, leader, singer and songwriter from NYAI (People's faces were drawn by 2nd singer and keyboardist ABE). NYAI is an alternative five piece rock band formed and living around Fukuoka city which is placed in the southern part of Japan.
Their music style is influenced by the late 80s to 90s alternative pop and rock bands and artists from US, UK and Japan, such as Flaming Lips, Pavement and Cornelius. Nevertheless, their music can be described as very much original NYAI music for the people living in the 21st century.
It is authentic, futuristic, realistic and much more fun to listen to for the everyday people in the world today.
