Piano singing solo artist "Natsuko Nisshoku" will release her 4th mini album on January 11, 2017.

This time, I put emphasis on the arrangement part that increases the energy of the original song.
Until now, I've never really touched on the arrangement, but this time, when the 8 original songs were completed, I could see the arrangement plan strangely and clearly.
So, in order to bring out my potential, I decided to take the plunge and arrange things centered on myself.
I repeatedly consulted with all the musicians who were involved, and looked back at every step when I spoke about this and that...
"Self-arrangement" can not be called a splendid name.
Still, I believed that the arrangement performed by the person who made the song would definitely give the song a strong energy.
As a result, trembling masterpieces appeared in front of me.
It's still in the middle of production, but I assure you. It's dangerous. It's going to be an amazing album.
We plan to have these arrangements appear on stage as much as possible during our release tour in February next year.
I'm planning to make a tour full of spectacular and luxurious fun, which is the complete opposite of the piano solo cafe tour "Yui Kissa" that is currently underway.

I thought it was the perfect place for this tour, where I wanted to enjoy music while relaxing and facing myself, where I never had to stretch my legs.

Solo artist Nisshoku Natsuko, who plays the piano, has released a new song MV.
This new song is titled "Ano Department Store" and is based on the theme of Marukan Department Store in Hanamaki, Iwate.

I learned that Marukan Department Store, which has been loved for 43 years in Hanamaki City, will close on June 7 this year due to aging and other reasons.
Production started from the point where I could do something.

Marukan Department Store is an important place not only for Hanamaki, but also for the people of Iwate Prefecture.
Such local department stores are all disappearing one after another due to management problems, etc. This current situation is a common problem for all local cities throughout Japan.

The lyrics and the melancholy melody are combined as if you are tracing your memory to this place full of memories from your childhood.
The music video for this song was filmed at the Marukan department store at the request of the person himself, and the content of the filming of the MV that Natsuko Nisshoku imagined was embodied by himself drawing up to the storyboard.

In particular, the large dining room on the 6th floor is a specialty of Marukan Department Store, and its retro interior with a Showa atmosphere and impactful menu has become popular both inside and outside the prefecture.
In the MV, the scenery of the hall as well as the image flows as if thinking about each of the main dining halls one by one.

There are no plans to release it at present, and you can listen to it only in the MV "Ano Department Store".

The moment I heard the news of the closure of the Marukan department store in March of this year, the idea of making this MV flowed into my head at a tremendous speed.
The shock of losing a familiar place that everyone in Hanamaki must visit.
Reaffirming the existence of my hometown Hanamaki and Marukan, which have such symbols, and the regret I feel for living away from them now.
I think that various emotions were mixed together and gathered into one thought, "I have to leave some form of proof that Marukan existed."

I'm sure every Hanamaki citizen has thought over the past few months that they want to keep Marukan, and if they can't keep him, they want to take action.
I heard that there were various actions such as signature activities by local high school students.
I'm maybe a little closer than normal to being able to do that.
So I had to do something, and it was almost a sense of mission.

At that time, I happened to rewrite the lyrics of an unreleased song that happened to be recorded as a demo to the content I sent to Marukan, and completed the new song "Ano Department Store".
As for the visuals, I'm probably a little unfamiliar with it, but I wanted to direct myself, so I drew storyboards and worked out the composition.

While I was working on the project, I was once again reminded of my gratitude that there was such a person in my hometown who was so enthusiastic about it.
There are still many things I want to say about Marukan Department Store, but the MV for "Ano Department Store" summarizes all of them.
I reflected all the scenery of Marukan that I wanted to leave behind. Please take a look.

Solar eclipse Natsuko, crowdfunding success & album details announced!

The goal of crowdfunding, which was challenged by solo artist Natsuko Nisshoku, who sings while playing the piano, has been achieved.
In addition, we will continue to challenge the project by announcing additional content such as backstage invitations to the “Makuramashi Tour” to be held in January.
There is no doubt that the invitation to the backstage, which is usually off-limits, will be something special for the fans.

Nisshoku Natsuko Announces Tower Records Limited Single Release at Fuji Rock!

Piano singing artist "Nisshoku Natsuko" will appear at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'15 on 7/24 (Fri.).
Announced on stage that Tower Records limited single will be released in September.

This is the first Fuji Rock appearance, and we welcomed komaki (from.wrong city) as the drummer and went with a piano x drums formation. Playing the new song "Hero Disappearance" as the first song, they showed a 45-minute storm that instantly grabbed the hearts of music-loving audiences.

The single to be released this time is limited to Tower Records, and only 1,000 copies will be produced, and the price is 500 yen one coin.
The recording includes the new song "Hero Disappearance" and two live recordings from the Tokyo performance of the one-man tour "Vision Test Tour" held last year. The live sound source is the first sound source of himself, and it seems that this work will be a rare work, partly because it is limited.
