this time,
I'm so grateful that so many people were able to participate.
Some of the songs chosen by each artist were unexpected.
Also, everyone's arrangements were finished with a sense of love.
I truly felt that it was all worthwhile to have done this for 30 years!
It's so much better than the original!
Well, if you put it that way, I don't really have anything to say (lol).
But I am truly grateful that everyone has contributed to the history of Gagaga SP.
Everyone, you've created an amazing tribute!
Please give it a listen!
Vocalist: Kozak Maeda

Since the song "Youth Anthem" was a cover of a song by a band from the same generation,
We invited people from younger generations to participate.
I think Gagaga's songs are really distinctive and difficult to cover, don't you guys?
While I was very happy, I also keenly felt that I need to work harder myself.
Each band played songs that were meaningful to them.
It makes me think that they had time to really listen to Gagaga's music.
I can't wait to let Kuwahara hear it.
They'll probably say it's so moving it will make them cry, and they'll definitely watch it over and over again.
I have a strong emotional attachment to all 10 songs included,
Even if you've just discovered Gagaga through this, I hope you'll listen to the original song at least once.
Actually, no one has covered "Late Autumn," so if there are any band members with free time, please join us.
Would they do it if there was some kind of prize? lol
Guitar: Satoshi Yamamoto

Thanks to you,
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary,
A diverse tribute album has been completed!
Thank you to all the artists who participated.
We have been able to come this far thanks to all of our fans who have supported us.
We will continue to be Gagaga SP, passionate and gritty.
I am grateful for all the encounters I have had so far, and I look forward to the encounters that will come in the future.
We hope you will continue to support Gagaga SP in the future.

Gagaga SP and The Batteries will perform together at the music and laughter party "ENKAI"!
It has been decided that a new event, "ENKAI Straightforward Battle - Gagaga SP x Batteries," will be held at Spotify O-EAST in Shibuya on Monday, October 6th. The new event is a spin-off of "DAIENKAI," a grand party that combines music and laughter hosted by Yoshimoto Kogyo.
Gagaga SP is a legendary youth punk band formed in Kobe in 1997, and Batteries, formed 20 years later in 2017, is an up-and-coming comedy duo that quickly gained attention after coming second in the M-1 Grand Prix 2024.
The two couples first met in a commercial for Suntory's green tea "Iyemon."
Gagaga SP wrote the song "Que Sera Sera," which perfectly matches the image of the Batteries, who will be performing.
Thanks to this connection, this time the two dedicated bands, who are dedicated to music and laughter, have come together.
The title was decided to be "The Straight Ball Episode," in reference to the opening music of the Batteries, which is "The Man Who Goes for the Straight Ball" by Gagaga SP.
On the day, we will not only be able to enjoy live band performances and manzai comedy, but also plenty of collaborations unique to these two groups.
This will be a premium live performance that can only be seen on this day!
