Hiroki Nakamura, a drummer, has developed symptoms that hinder his ability to play the drums since this summer.
After hearing the doctor's judgment and hearing from other drummers who suffer from the same symptoms, I have decided to take a break for a while.
They have already announced the release of their 10th anniversary album and a tour, but they are going ahead as planned with a support drummer.
For the time being, we won't be able to see Kariyushi 58's activities as a group of four, but we can hear from Hiroki Nakamura's comments that he is positive about his comeback.

We have an important report for everyone regarding Hiroki Nakamura, the drummer of Kariyushi 58.

Kariyushi 58 has been doing live performances and recordings, but while continuing these activities, around the summer, I was consulted by the person himself that there was something wrong with his right arm and that he was having trouble playing the drums.
I continued my activities while monitoring the situation, but the symptoms did not improve, and I began to worry that it would affect not only my drum playing but also my daily life. rice field.

Recently, my symptoms have become clearer.
In short, I found that the symptoms of focal dystonia were afflicting me.
Simple actions/exercises cannot be skillfully sent from the brain as commands, and the body stops moving against the will of the person.
Or it is in a situation where it moves unintentionally.

After receiving a doctor's examination at the hospital, talk with various people, including drummers and related people who suffer from the same symptoms, and try to find out how to improve and how to hit like before. I was.

As a result, I decided that it would be best for me to rest now.

At this stage, I'm getting impatient because I have to practice so that people can see a good live performance, and I have to do my best to record in order to leave a good work behind. It's gone.

Hiroki Nakamura's frustration that he will not be able to participate in the commemorative timing of the 10th anniversary of Kariyushi 58, such as the release of the album next year, the tour, and the appearance at the event, is understood by the members and staff. doing.

However, rather than overdoing it at this time, I believe that it is the best decision to take all possible measures for the next 10 years, both physically and mentally.

We apologize for the inconvenience and concern for all the fans who support us, but we hope that you will respect the person's intentions and understand the decision to "wait".

From now on, I think that I will spend time on rest and rehabilitation for a while.
At this stage, it is not easy to promise when we will be able to return.
However, the members and staff want to protect the place, believing that they will definitely be able to return.

As for the ongoing recordings, there are still a few songs whose drums have not been recorded yet.
In addition, we have already announced a tour to commemorate the 10th anniversary after next year.

There was a strong request from Nakamura himself that he would like us not to stop these activities.
That person accepted the offer on the condition that Nakamura would definitely return to Kariyushi 58.

Regarding Kariyushi 58's activities for the time being, we will be working with support members, but I think that we can only deliver good music to everyone and continue good live performances.

Since this summer, I've been having trouble hitting my right wrist against my will, and because of that, I've often been unable to play the drums as I wanted.
Recently, it has gotten worse and I have lost the sense of power in my right hand.
Even so, I did my best for the live and recording, but honestly, the mental stress has reached its limit.

In order to cure this symptom, it seems that the best treatment is to leave the behavior that causes the symptom for a while.
I wish I could reconfirm the wonders of music at a distance.
It's frustrating and I'm very sorry that this happened just before the 10th anniversary of my debut, but please give me some time.
I'm looking forward to the day when we can laugh together saying that this holiday was good.

That said, I just can't play the drums, but other than that, I'm in good health.
