Today, on September 11th, the music video for the new song "Sakugasaku" by Uchikokugokumon Doukoukai has been lifted.

The concept of this work began when I got acquainted with WIT STUDIO animator Kyoji Asano (in charge of character design for the anime "Attack on Titan" and "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass") at an event on Wednesdays.

At the Christmas event hosted by WIT STUDIO held on Christmas 2019, when the members of the Uchikokugokumon Club appeared, they wanted to create a cheering song for the animators who support animation, one of the symbols of Japanese culture. Therefore, the production was announced.

Music Video directed by Mr. Asano and character design is like the opening movie of an animation, with a variety of newly written characters from cute characters to hard-boiled and robots, and it is a gorgeous development.
The members of the Hitokubi Gokumon Club are also appearing as characters, so please pay attention.

The song itself is also a straight support song, which is rare for the Kokubo Gokumon Club.
I would like you to take this opportunity to look again at the wonders of animation, and listen to it as a work that speaks to the positive hopes of those who aspire to be animators and the thoughts of active animators.

The Uchikubi Gokumon Gokumon Club released the music video for "Kinniku My Friend" in August, and has continued to release new songs for two consecutive months.
I would like you to pay attention to future developments, including release information.

● Atsushi Osawa (Decapitated Prison Club)
I think that everyone who was born and raised in Japan has been exposed to Japanese animation since they can remember.
Needless to say, I am no exception. I have spent countless hours with anime.

However, it wasn't until I became an adult that I realized that the works I'd taken for granted had been created with tremendous effort, and that Japanese animation had established itself as a world-class culture. Oh how proud
I cannot deny my respect and gratitude to the animators who have built up the culture over the years.

In fact, even in this band, we have tried many "MVs of anime works", but it was hard.
I wondered if it would take this much effort even if I devoted myself to a relatively simple design style that lasted at most 3 to 4 minutes.
On earth, what happened to that 30-minute animation every week that I watched as a matter of course?

In the midst of this, I met Mr. Asano in a series of coincidences.

And after several exchanges, I was asked to create a song. I want to make a song to support animators.
I didn't have to worry too much. If that song I have a lot of material in me that I can write about.
Not only because of the above story, but also because the feeling of wanting to support animators grew from various events every day.

However, at first I didn't think it would go this far.
No way, the whole story will be an animated MV that he himself worked on.
Such a work cannot be realized by the speculation of the band alone. In many ways, it's already too unreasonable.
However, to be able to make a music video like this is probably only once in this life.

It's a very rare piece for a band like that. Please take a look.

Ah, but what I want you to see most, or rather, I want to deliver this song to the animators.
I am very proud and grateful for your work. I hope that this song conveys that feeling.
When writing the lyrics, I borrowed a few messages from Mr. Asano. Please accept that as well.

●Kyoji Asano (WIT STUDIO affiliated director/character designer)
When you're immersed in your work, listening to your favorite songs increases your concentration, and the power of music is also indispensable for creation.
While listening to the song "Japanese rice is the best in the world" by Ukokugokumon Doukoukai, when I casually converted it to "Japanese animation is the best in the world," I was struck by the thought that "animators working in the same way It would be nice if you could hear a song that cheers you on from your earphones!?
The song that came up was very cool, and I remember my eyes getting hotter and hotter.

Delivered to animators all over Japan and around the world, or rather to many staff involved in anime and many anime fans! I hope.

Hit head! Thank you for the wonderful song!! ︎

● Tetsuya Nakatake (WIT STUDIO Producer)
In the fall of 2019, that day of the Yakiniku meeting with the Hitokubo Gokumon Club,
Kyoji Asano suddenly said,

"Mr. Hitokubi, let's make a music video!"

The expected collaboration frame flew away far away,
A new battle with animation making has come to us.
"Winter is coming," I told President Wada, and we set to work on animation production.

The producer thinks so.
This positive feeling will surely reach anime fans all over the world!
I have to do my best!

Mr. Satoshi Kadowaki also participated as animation director,
It is a video made mainly by two people in the middle of WIT.
As a lover of eyes and ears while commuting or working
It has become a wonderful animation that can fill your gap time.

Please take a look!
