Kariyushi58 is in charge of producing the stage theme song starring Kenichi Matsuyama. The collaboration MV is also completed.

The stage play "hana-1970, the day Koza burnt-" starring Kenichi Matsuyama, which depicts the people living in Okinawa just before the handover, will open on Sunday, January 9 next year.
The folk song "Where did the flowers go", which is used as the song in the play, has been covered by many artists in Japan, such as The Peanuts, Kiyoshiro Imawano, and Mr. Children, and is the number one song in the world. It is also said to be a famous anti-war song.

Chika Uehara, a rookie actress from Okinawa who plays the role of Nanako, is in charge of the main vocals. Where have you been?
The collaboration MV has also been completed.
It will be directed by Kazuhiro Taira, the scriptwriter and director of the movie Miracle City Koza, which will be released next spring.

This music video is a story about a bar on "Koza Gate Street" leading to Kadena Air Base, and was filmed as if Kariyushi 58 Shingo Maekawa and Yukihiro Araya introduced the current Koza cityscape while walking. People of many nationalities, including US soldiers, come and go.
It is a video where you can feel the “Chanpuru culture” of Koza, which is also called “the city of music”.

[Comment from Shingo Maekawa]
If there was heaven and there were angels, how would you feel as you watched life vanish in the torrent of time?
I felt that Mr. Uehara's voice had the power to show the answer.
I strongly believe that her songs, like innocent prayers, will bring peace to the world.
……. Shingo Maekawa (Kariyushi 58)

Kenichi Matsuyama and Kariyushi 58 will be co-starring for the first time since Matsuyama Kenichi starred in the Nippon Television drama "Zen Geba" aired in January 2019, and Kariyushi 58 was in charge of the theme song "Sayonara" (https:/ /www.ntv.co.jp/zenigeba/).

Before starting training for this work, Kenichi Matsuyama, who went to Okinawa to study the situation and the historical background in preparation for the role, published a three-way talk with Maekawa and Araya.

[Kariyushi 58 profile]
A four-piece band formed in Okinawa in April 2005. They are popular across generations by sending out messages in simple words, with sounds that have champlooed rock and reggae on the Okinawan scale. Debuted in February 2006 with the mini-album "Koibito Yo". "Ammer", which sang the feeling of gratitude to her mother straight, attracted a lot of sympathy and won the Japan Yusen Taisho Newcomer Award. On February 22nd of this year, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of our debut, and released the latest work "HeartBeat".
Born and raised in Okinawa, they continue to sing "Shima Uta" to the whole country.
