The new song by Utsukubi Gokumon Doukoukai in collaboration with New Japan Pro-Wrestling has been chosen as the official BOSJ theme song!
Uchikubi Gokumon Doukoukai's new song "WAZA" has been chosen as the official theme song for "Sekichu Presents BEST OF THE SUPER Jr.32," New Japan Pro-Wrestling's annual big junior heavyweight event, which begins on Saturday, May 10th.
In addition, this song has been chosen as the fighting music for TV Asahi's "World Pro Wrestling" in June and July.
This song, written specifically for the tournament, is a unique and unprecedented pro-wrestling tribute song that is in keeping with Uchi-kubi-Gokumon-Doukoukai's long-standing connection to professional wrestling, with the names of numerous pro-wrestling moves shouted at the top of their lungs over a metal sound.
El Desperado, YOH, and Hiromu Takahashi, all members of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, participated in the recording of this work as guest chorus members. The voices of these famous wrestlers are added to the work, creating a finished product that seems to capture the excitement of being in the ring.
Be sure to check out the songs, which will have a strong impact and further heighten the excitement of the tournament.

[Utsukubigokumon Club Profile]
Formed in 2004. A three-piece band consisting of Atsushi Osawa (guitar/vocals), Asuka Kawamoto (drums/vocals), and junko (bass/vocals). A rare style with a male guitarist, a female rhythm section, and a mixed vocal ensemble with male and female vocalists taking turns singing. Musically, the sound is deep bass-oriented with 7-string guitars and 5-string basses, but the lyrics are full of everyday topics about food and health, creating a huge gap. Due to their unique stance, they call their music genre "loud rock for everyday life." They were also one of the first in the industry to use a VJ to display lyrics during live performances, and the VJ role is handled by an employee of their agency, which is also an unusual arrangement that enhances their unique style. They have firmly established their position as a unique band in every aspect.
Despite the band's name, their fan base is wide, with people of all ages and genders, and they have written songs for everything from sports drink commercials to anime theme songs and children's programs, and they have collaborated with everything from professional wrestlers to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, so they know exactly what they want. They are also very active as a live band, having toured numerous times and sold out the Nippon Budokan in 2018, and their 20th anniversary tour in 2024 was a huge success, attracting 10,000 people to the final show. They have become well-known as a regular band at famous festivals in Japan, and recently they have begun to expand overseas.

-Gagaga SP Comment-
Kozak Maeda (singer)
"There have been a lot of things going on at the moment, but this song conveys the message of staying positive in times like these!"
Satoshi Yamamoto (guitarist)
"The two members of The Batteries listened carefully to this song and sang it.
It's the same group groove from the beginning! Everyone, please enjoy the music along with the video!"
Satoshi Tajima (drummer)
"Thanks to the two members of Batteries, we were able to create a wonderful piece! The lyrics are straightforward, and I hope it will reach a lot of people!"
-Batteries' Comments-
Ace
"I was happy to meet Gagaga SP for the first time, who uses the song "Chokkyuu Shobu no Otoko" for the intro.
The lyrics are great and even I can understand them easily, they really hit home.
The lyrics are mostly what I think, so I'd like it to become like a theme song for us.
I will never change my intro from "Straightforward Man," and if I were to change it, it would be "Que Sera Sera" (laughs)."
Temple
"From the first time I heard it, I knew Ace would be a good fit.
I was so nervous to meet Gagaga SP, who I used to sing and listen to at karaoke with my friends in high school.
I finished the recording feeling light-hearted, haha."
When the members heard that the Batteries were using Gagaga SP's "Chokkyuu Shobu no Otoko" as their introductory music,
We all cheered for them when they participated in last year's M-1.
We hope that this song, which marks the first time the two groups have teamed up, will reach many people along with this product.

Utsukubigokumon Doukoukai announces live performance of "Yarimokoshi" for their 20th anniversary project
Last year, Utsukubi Gokumon Club embarked on a project to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2024, titled "20!+39!=59!", and carried out various activities throughout the year.
However, considering that some of the events could not be carried out as originally planned, they have now announced two new live shows as "20th Anniversary Unfinished Live Shows."
https://uchikubi.site/203959/
The first one is a two-man live show featuring Hanabie at HIROSHIMA CLUB QUATTRO.
This event was originally scheduled to take place as part of the Hiroshima performance of the "20!+39!=59! TOUR" in October 2024, but guest band Hanabie was forced to cancel their appearance due to a member's poor health.
This time, they announced that the revenge concert will be titled "20th Anniversary Unfinished Live" and will take place on Friday, February 28th. The venue will be the same as before, HIROSHIMA CLUB QUATTRO, and the guest band will of course be "Hanabie."
Tickets will go on sale at each play guide from 10:00 on Saturday, January 18th. They are only available on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't miss out!
The second will be an appearance at SXSW (South by Southwest), one of the world's largest live house circuit festivals, held in Austin, Texas, USA.
He was scheduled to appear at the same event in March of last year, but was unable to obtain an entry visa to the United States in time, so he had to cancel his appearance.
This time, they will be performing on the stage of "TOKYO CALLING × INSPIRED BY TOKYO showcase supported by CEIPA" on Tuesday, March 11th. This will also be a revenge match for Uchikubi Gokumon Doukoukai, with the theme of "20th Anniversary Unfinished Live".
