[Kariyushi 58]
A four-member band formed in Okinawa in April 2005. They debuted in February 2006 with the mini-album "Koibito yo" (My Lover).
Their sound, rooted in rock but constantly evolving without being confined to any particular genre, and their lyrics, woven with gentle and unadorned words, resonate with the lives of those who listen.
They resonate with each other and continue to be loved across generations. "Anma," a song that directly expresses gratitude to mothers, has resonated with many.
They won the Japan Cable Awards New Artist Award. In February 2026, they celebrated their 20th anniversary and released their first new song in a long time, "Ai wo Amu" (Weaving Love).
In March, the band released their first tribute album, embarked on a Zepp joint tour, and held a Mother's Day concert at Osaka Castle Music Hall on May 10th.

Utsukubi Gokumon Doukoukai releases new song with all English lyrics and music video ahead of North American tour
Utsukubi Gokumon Doukoukai has released their new song "I wish I could speak English", the band's first song with lyrics entirely in English. The music video was also released at noon on the same day. The illustrations for the jacket and music video were created by illustrator Iwai Yoriyoshi, who has worked on many American comic book style works. Along with the visuals of the Utsukubi members drawn in an American comic book style, the music video allows you to enjoy the world of the new song even more vividly.
This song, produced ahead of the band's North American tour next month, is the band's first song with lyrics entirely in English, yet it also features the band's earnest, honest feelings, "I can't speak English because I didn't study it in time..." This is a song that depicts the gap between their motivation for the North American tour and reality in a humorous yet earnest way, typical of Utsukubi, making it an English version of "loud rock that's close to everyday life."

Formed in 2004. A three-piece band consisting of Atsushi Osawa (guitar/vocals), Asuka Kawamoto (drums/vocals), and junko (bass/vocals). A rare style with a male guitarist, a female rhythm section, and a mixed vocal ensemble with male and female vocalists taking turns singing. Musically, the sound is deep bass-oriented with 7-string guitars and 5-string basses, but the lyrics are full of everyday topics about food and health, creating a huge gap. Due to their unique stance, they call their music genre "loud rock for everyday life." They were also one of the first in the industry to use a VJ to display lyrics during live performances, and the VJ role is handled by an employee of their agency, which is also an unusual arrangement that enhances their unique style. They have firmly established their position as a unique band in every aspect.
Despite the band's name, their fan base is wide, with people of all ages and genders, and they have written songs for everything from sports drink commercials to anime theme songs and children's programs, and they have collaborated with everything from professional wrestlers to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, so they know exactly what they want. They are also very active as a live band, having toured numerous times and sold out the Nippon Budokan in 2018, and their 20th anniversary tour in 2024 was a huge success, attracting 10,000 people to the final show. They have become well-known as a regular band at famous festivals in Japan, and recently they have begun to expand overseas.

Village Man's Store has unveiled the cover and tracklist for their 5th mini album "Chunk of Red," due for release on Wednesday, April 1st!
Nagoya's wild band Village Man's Store has announced the cover photo and track list for their fifth mini-album, "Chunk of Red," which will be released on Wednesday, April 1st.
The new album "Chunk of Red" contains seven songs produced with the same fervor that fueled their anniversary year. It is a masterpiece that captures the pride of a rock band that continues to be a rock band.
Reservations are currently being accepted at various CD shops and other locations.
Additionally, the official third advance ticket sales are currently open for the nationwide tour "PAINT IT RED tour" in support of the mini-album "Chunk of Red."
It's a long tour that will begin with a performance at LOOK in Chiba on Saturday, April 25th and continue until a performance at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO on Saturday, September 19th. Please check the official website for more details.
