The Tokyo Night Market, which was visited by approximately 200,000 people, will be even more powerful and will be held this fall!

The Tokyo Night Market, which was held until 10pm at the Zelkova Avenue in Yoyogi Park and became a hot topic on social media, will be held for five days from October 23rd (Wed) to October 27th (Sun) in 2024 with a new look.

Tokyo Night Market was born from the idea of a glittering night market like that located in Shibuya, the heart of Japan.

Starting from now on, we will be enhancing the content and catering to foreign tourists to create a more international atmosphere.

The spring 2024 event was a huge success, attracting approximately 200,000 visitors.
The previous Tokyo Night Market far surpassed the first one, attracting a total of 200,000 visitors over the five days it was held, and was bustling with tourists from Japan and abroad, families, and couples after work, becoming a pioneer of a new night culture in Shibuya.
Another attraction was that the food stalls were open until 10pm, and there were 43 restaurants with ties to Shibuya lined up. From Thai food to ramen and hand-packed xiaolongbao. There were also art exhibitions that were nearing completion every day and live performances by artists. The food and art attracted passersby.

As a new initiative, to make the five autumn days an even better opportunity to experience an Asian night market, services have also been improved, such as making information available in English so that tourists from overseas can easily participate.

Festivals aren’t just for summer! The 2nd “Tokyo Night Market” will be held at Yoyogi Park Keyaki Namiki from 2024.5/22 to 5/26!

"Tokyo Night Market" attracted a total of 65,000 visitors over six days in October this year, and became a hot topic on social media as it was held until 10 p.m. for the first time in Yoyogi Park. The second event will be held from May 22nd to 26th, 2024!

The event theme is "Tokyo x Asian Night Markets."
When you go to countries like Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam, you'll find rows of attractive stores and DJ bars that you can see from the outside, and the best part of being a night culture tourist spot is being able to enjoy a concentrated view of the area.
In order to enjoy the unique lineup of Shibuya, which has become a symbol of Tokyo, this time as well, in addition to art exhibitions and artist live performances, there will also be street performances and participatory installations, making it a five-day event where you can experience art and culture.

A gallery space curated by Shibuya Geijutsu will also be on display.
At the 2023 event, five groups of artists held exhibitions and installations that caught the attention of passersby.

At the DJ booth, programs will be held in collaboration with clubs in the Shibuya area, and various artists will appear on the LIVE stage every day.
